::Biography::
Those of you familiar and already had the pleasure
of watching them live knows what we are talking about
when we rave about this amazing band:
DEAR DIARY has an unconventional approach to songwriting.
Segments may be bursting with energy in one second,
and without notice, shift into calmness in another.
Their catchy style will make you sing along and dance
to the rhythm.
Influences from SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE, HEY MERCEDES,
TEXAS IS THE REASON and SMALL BROWN BIKE are apparent
in their songs. However, they donāt want to hide their
influences, nor do they need to. DEAR DIARY holds
a distinctive sound, and walks into a direction apart
from anything mainstream with their newest dynamic
release, "How To Become A Ghost," again produced by
Guido Lucas (DONOTS, PALE, YAGE) at the infamous BluBox
Studios and mastered at Skyline Studios.
Selling thousands of records, playing more than 200
shows all over Europe and having a strong fan base
in the past seven years, DEAR DIARY can without a
doubt be named as one of the formative bands in German
Emocore.
Slip this baby in your CD player and at let DEAR DIARY
tell you how to become a ghost!
