Overview:

Although this five piece hails from the frozen praries of Canada their music is anything but cold. Away From Here are all under 19 but in there short amount of time that the band has been around they have come leaps and bounds. Many of the songs deal with the bitterness of broken hearts and how to handle being burned. Away From Here incorporates heavy breakdowns with those of thrice combined with heart felt lyrics like those of dashboard confessional with all these things with a twist of some poppy punk thrown into the mix. You could compare away from here to Matchbook Romance off Epitaph records or even Silverstein off Victory records.

They are an up and coming band with a fresh sound. They recently toured along the Canadian circuits of the Warped Tour 2004, and are constantly in demand in venues all over Canada.
